Whetū Workshops Reflection

During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops.

The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been origami because it is nice and relaxing

The new learning that I have learnt is that you can make butter by shaking cream in a jar

What I have most enjoyed about the workshops are that you could choose what one you wanted

 I am interested in learning more about rad rhythm

My Term Three Inquiry

This is my term three inquiry the question was should animals be keeped in zoos. we called our inquiry So what.I think animals being keeped in zoos are good because some animals that are  get keeped in zoos get hunted and they have breeding programs for endangered animals like the Kakapo and many others and they even have breeding programs for Kiwi's.I did a poster.

  

letter of the week

this week for letter of the week we did h.it was fun but really challenging . for my Onomatopoeic word I did howl because I really like wolf's my favourite is adjective because I did handsome.

 

Cross country

 Cross Country Reflection 2020

This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain.  I ran in the 10 year age group.

I am most proud of how I never gave up and keeped on going. 

I think my effort towards our training at school was 7/10.

I showed the Learning Power of Resilience by when I finished my second lap I did not want to keep going but I did.

chapter chat

 This week for chapter chat I made a panic meter. The book we are reading is wink. The main character is Ross. The most challenging part was thinking of what to write. I think it is a super nova because of the way I presented it.

whetu challenge T 3 wk 3

This week for whetu challenge we had to work in our learning constellations. We had to make cartoon characters and put them into a background. My learning constellation did the Simpsons. I worked with Carlee,Carmen,Ben,Levi,Sena and Roane. it was hard but fun. I did Bart and it was really hard. 

letter of the week

this week for letter of the week the letter was p. I had to write down nine words and one sentience in my literacy book. it was challenging but fun. I liked it because I got to design

it and put all of the words in different places.
